Job summary

Mentor Community Services, part of Sevita, seeks a Program Clinical Coordinator for the Early Intervention Program serving school-age children in the Hesperia area and surrounding communities. The role coordinates services, reviews plans, and oversees care quality while supporting families and EI Specialists using ABA approaches.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in human services or related field required (Acceptable majors include Psychology, Sociology, Child/Human Development, etc.)
  • One year of work-related experience with individuals with IDD, brain injury, or at-risk youth, especially children with parents/guardians
  • Experience with ABA and behavioral management techniques is highly desired.
  • RBT certification a plus (CEU opportunities with BCBA on staff)
  • Valid CA Driver's license; at least one year as a licensed driver
  • Reliable vehicle with current registration and insurance
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented with ability to multi-task and problem-solve
  • Strong analytical and communication skills with ability to build rapport with a team
  • Flexible availability

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all services provided to individuals and families, monitor quality of care, and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Assist in developing quality services and engaging activities to meet needs.
  • Build and maintain relationships with families and external case managers.
  • Provide supervision, training, and guidance to EI Specialists on techniques for working with parents and children.

Program Clinical Coordinator - Early Intervention Program

Annual Salary: $47,278 plus mileage reimbursement, overtime eligible

Full-Time 40 hours/week

This role works in our Early Intervention program working with children who have been diagnosed with an intellectual or developmental disability. The current opening is working with the school-age range, which includes students between ages 4-21 years old.

  • Coordinate the development, review, and implementation of services, case management, behavior intervention plans, and treatments provided to individuals served.
  • Oversee all services provided to individuals and their families, monitor quality of care delivered, ensure compliance with contractual terms, and monitor regulatory program compliance.
  • Assist in the development of quality services and engaging activities that meet the individual served needs.
  • Build and maintain relationships with families and external case managers.
  • Use ABA and behavioral skills and knowledge to be extra level of support to challenging cases and support the Early Intervention Specialists. Provide supervision, training, and guidance to Early Intervention Specialists on special techniques and skills in working with parents and children.

  • One year of work-related experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, brain injury, youth placed at-risk, etc. - We are primarily looking for candidates who have experience working with children and their parents/guardians for this specific role.
  • Experience with ABA and behavioral management and modification techniques is highly desired.
  • RBT certification a plus (we have CEU opportunities with BCBA on staff)
  • Valid CA Driver's license; also must have at least one year as a licensed driver (in any US state)
  • Reliable vehicle with current registration and insurance
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented with ability to multi-task and ability to exercise sound judgment and independently problem-solve.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills with ability to build rapport with a team.
  • Flexible availability desired.
