Job summary

RTX is seeking a Program Chief Engineer to provide strategic and tactical execution for our next generation of airborne processing systems within the EOIRS portfolio. This role reports to the USAF program leadership and will manage cost, schedule and technical execution for the program.

The position requires leading across design disciplines, supplier management, and program leadership, with a travelup to 10% and eligibility for a Secret security clearance.

Qualifications

• STEM degree with 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Airborne electronics design, integration, test and flight qualification experience.
• Ability to obtain/maintain active Secret clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
• Lead Domain Engineer / IPTL / Program Chief Engineer experience.
• Strong communication with customers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Establish technical baseline, roadmap, customer engagement, and product family strategy.
• Oversee lifecycles including EMD, Technology Transition, and IR&D efforts.
• Primary technical contact for Customer Engineering/Technical counterparts.
• Provide recommendations on future system strategy and sustainment.
• Review cost, schedule, and budget information for EACs and proposals.
• Lead across multi-disciplinary teams with ~10% travel.
