Job summary

Milwaukee Area Technical College (MATC) seeks an instructor for the Pharmacy Technician/Community Pharmacy Technician program to educate diploma and vocational diploma students. You will develop curriculum, supervise labs and clinical experiences, and contribute to program accreditation.

The role requires a Bachelor’s or higher in Pharmacy, a Wisconsin license (RPh) for Pharmacists or CPhT for technicians, and at least three years of pharmacy practice experience.

Qualifications

• Must have Pharmacy-related degree(s) and licensure as applicable.
• Pharmacy technician track or program experience preferred.
• Experience with program accreditation processes is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Teach Pharmacy Technician/Community Pharmacy Technician courses to diploma and vocational diploma students.
• Advise/mentor students and manage laboratory facilities.
• Develop and revise curriculum; ensure program effectiveness and accreditation.
• Assist in departmental activities and promote MATC pharmacy programs.
• Coordinate clinical learning experiences and assess student performance.
