Job summary

NCUS TEC invites applications for a Part-Time Pharmacy Technician Instructor to deliver a 32-hour training program over four weeks. The instructor will teach foundational topics, facilitate engaging classroom activities, and support student success in entering healthcare roles.

Requirements include a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) credential preferred and at least two years of pharmacy experience; prior teaching experience and strong communication and classroom management skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, presentation, and classroom management skills.
• Minimum of 2 years of pharmacy experience in a retail, hospital, or healthcare setting.
• Previous training, teaching, or workforce development experience preferred.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) credential preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pharmacy technician curriculum in an engaging and professional manner.
• Teach foundational topics including pharmacy operations, medication safety, prescription processing, pharmacy calculations, customer service, and healthcare regulations.
• Facilitate classroom discussions, hands-on activities, and practical exercises.
• Monitor student attendance, participation, and academic progress.
• Provide coaching, mentoring, and academic support to participants.
• Evaluate student performance through assessments and assignments.
• Maintain accurate classroom records and communicate regularly with NCUS TEC staff regarding student progress.
