Job summary

Franklin University in Columbus, Ohio, is seeking a Program Chair for Financial Planning and Financial Management to lead the BS in Financial Planning and the AS/BS in Financial Management within the Ross College of Business.

This is a full-time, 12-month position providing strategic direction for the programs through academic leadership, curriculum oversight, faculty supervision, teaching, assessment, scholarship, and engagement with industry and professional organizations.

Qualifications

• Earned doctorate in Finance, Financial Planning, or related discipline from an accredited institution.
• At least five years of university-level teaching experience.
• At least five years of progressive leadership/management experience.
• Minimum 18 graduate credit hours in the discipline.
• CFP® and/or CFA® credentials strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction for the programs through academic leadership and curriculum oversight.
• Lead curriculum development, revision, and course design approval; oversee scheduling and staffing.
• Recruit, mentor, and evaluate faculty; foster a student-centered teaching environment.
• Engage with enrollment management, marketing, and external professional organizations.
• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses as needed; participate in assessment and program reviews.
