Job Description

EPS Corporation is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Program and Budget Analyst to support financial planning, execution, and analysis efforts for a variety of systems and platforms. The analyst will be responsible for creating and updating comprehensive program documentation, attending and supporting financial meetings, and conducting transactions and reporting within Department of Defense (DoD) financial systems.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Documentation & Analysis
Prepare, update, and analyze financial documentation for DEVCOM-AC programs, including systems-of-systems, family-of-systems, platforms, systems, subsystems, and individual items.

DoD Financial Systems Management
Utilize DoD financial systems (e.g., General Fund Enterprise Business System [GFEBS], Financial Reporting Enterprise [FIRE], and others) to process and analyze financial documents and transactions.

Meeting Participation & Reporting
Attend financial meetings and conferences, as identified by the government, to track and monitor execution of program funds. Prepare accurate documentation and reports from these sessions as required.

Program Planning & Budgeting
Develop detailed program documentation, including obligation and disbursement plans, cost and manpower estimates, justifications for cost adjustments or delays, and modifications to budget submissions.

Milestone & Performance Tracking
Establish program milestones with supporting financial and manpower data; assess delays or changes and recommend adjustments to support program execution.

Data Analysis & Reporting
Apply both qualitative and quantitative methods to evaluate program performance and financial efficiency. Organize and present data effectively to communicate program status to stakeholders.

Financial Transaction Processing
Execute financial transactions within government financial systems to manage the receipt, allocation, transfer, and return of customer funds. Enter customer funding data, assess fund availability, and generate analytical reports.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience in DoD program budgeting, financial management, or analysis.

Proficiency with DoD financial systems such as GFEBS, FIRE, or similar enterprise resource planning tools.

Strong analytical and organizational skills; experience synthesizing large data sets into actionable insights.

Ability to effectively communicate complex financial data to diverse technical and non-technical audiences.

Working knowledge of DoD budgeting processes and fiscal policy preferred.

U.S. Citizenship required; ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance if necessary.
