Job summary

Applied Underwriters, Inc. in Omaha, NE seeks a Program Audit Manager to lead the Program Audit Team responsible for audits of internal and third-party insurance programs.

The role ensures data accuracy, adherence to underwriting guidelines, and regulatory compliance across audits and program operations. The ideal candidate has strong Property & Casualty insurance knowledge, audit expertise, and leadership experience, with ability to engage internal and external partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, insurance, risk management, or related field.
• 5+ years of insurance industry experience with program oversight, underwriting, compliance, or audit.
• Leadership or supervisory experience in audit, compliance, or underwriting teams.
• Strong Excel skills and advanced Microsoft proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly audits of program data and broader audits of operations and compliance.
• Train and develop Program Auditors; ensure productivity and audit obligations are met.
• Oversee and continually update audit scope and methodology.
• Engage with internal stakeholders and external program partners to drive compliance.
