Job description

If you're super-organized, detail-oriented, and a self-starter looking for a great opportunity, Regions Hospital/RHSC has an opening for a Program Associate, Surgery to join our team.

The Program Associate, Surgery is responsible for the overall administration of the Surgery department's resident and fellow training rotations.

Responsibilities include:

1. Coordinating the onboarding and orientation of residents and fellows to Regions Hospital.
2. Overseeing all administration of inpatient medical training rotations at Methodist Hospital.

Additionally, the candidate should possess:

• The ability to work independently.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, internet, and the ability to learn job-specific software.
• Strong organizational skills.
• The ability to determine priorities, plan accordingly, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency in writing correspondence.
• The ability to handle complicated scheduling in short time frames.
• Managing multiple activities simultaneously.
• Strong command of English, spelling, and grammar.

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, Day Shift

Required Qualifications:

Education, Experience, or an Equivalent Combination:

Bachelor's degree in a related field or 3-5 years of administrative experience in lieu of a degree.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with professional medical education is preferred.
