The Community Foundation of Western North Carolina (CFWNC) is looking for a Program Associate to join their team in Asheville, NC. This position involves providing essential administrative support to the Program Department, which includes assisting the Vice President and other key program staff. As a salaried position, the Program Associate will also handle front desk duties and phone coverage, contributing to CFWNC’s mission of enhancing communities in the region.
The Program Associate provides administrative support to the Program Department, including the Vice President, Program Officers, Scholarship Officer and Grants Manager, and supports all aspects of CFWNC grantmaking and scholarship activity. This position also provides support for front desk and phone coverage. The Program Associate reports to the Vice President of Programs and is a salaried position.
The Community Foundation of Western North Carolina (CFWNC), founded in 1978, is a public charity with a mission to inspire philanthropy and mobilize resources to enrich lives and communities in the eighteen counties of Western North Carolina, including the Qualla Boundary. CFWNC manages charitable funds for individuals, businesses and charitable organizations and makes grants to address the region’s pressing needs and promising opportunities.
