Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Available Monday–Friday, 2:00–7:00 p.m.; Wednesdays 12:15–7:00 p.m.
• Must pass DOJ & FBI fingerprint clearance if 18 or older.
• Completion of Mandated Reporter training prior to working with youth.
• TB test result negative.
• CPR and First Aid certification or ability to obtain within 30 days.
• Pass Sonoma Valley Unified School District instructional aide test (70%+).

Responsibilities

• Ensure the care, safety, and supervision of youth members (6th–12th).
• Lead and facilitate programs and activities for groups up to 20.
• Supervise youth and maintain safety and engagement across sites.
• Maintain classroom, site, equipment, and supplies in good order.
• Complete safety incident or behavior reports as needed.
• Communicate with Program Director about needs and progress.
• Support BGCSV events and adhere to organizational policies.

BGCSV is recruiting Program Assistants for our club programs at our sites in Sonoma.JOB SUMMARYUnder the direction of our Sr. Director of Teen Programs, this position will support our programs for teens in the valley. Program Assistants provide direct service to our club members.
