City of Fort Collins is seeking a Program Assistant - Sports (Hourly) to support the Athletics Department with youth sport programming and coach recruiting. Provides support to the Athletics Department and its personnel by providing assistance to the Recreation Coordinators in regard to sports programming and coach recruiting.

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required to perform the necessary functions of this position.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Minimum of two years related customer service experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret policies and procedures, safety and technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear. The demands on the visual sense may be very high.
