Job summary

University of Michigan is seeking a Program Assistant to support the Human Subject Incentives Program (HSIP) in the Treasurer's Office. You will process incentive payments, enter participant data, and assist customers with questions related to the HSIP system and IRB requirements.

This remote-first role may require on-site presence for certain tasks and coordination with study teams, cashier's offices, and partner organizations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months of customer service experience.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to process payments and handle sensitive data in a compliant manner.

Responsibilities

• Process HSIP payment requests on time, run queries in M-Pathways, and upload data into the HSIP system.
• Process prepaid gift card payments via external vendor interface and resolve payment issues.
• Assist HSIP customers with questions about the system, payments, IRB study requirements, and provide excellent service.
• Identify and resolve errors that prevent HSIP requests from being processed.
• Coordinate with partner organizations to facilitate payment requests and maintain reconciliation reports.
• Educate HSIP customers and develop materials to improve the HSIP experience.
