Job summary

ElderDay, located within the Menno Haven, Chambers Pointe campus in Chambersburg, PA, seeks a Program Assistant to provide care during daytime hours. This full-time, non-exempt role focuses on assisting residents with daily activities including toileting, bathing, and dressing in a structured social setting.

Qualified candidates hold a high school diploma or GED, PA CNA license preferred, CPR/First Aid certification, and prior healthcare experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Active PA CNA license highly desirable.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain upon hire required.
• Prior healthcare or senior living experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and assist in daily activities for residents.

Full-Time / Non-exempt / Pay based on experience

ElderDay, located within the Menno Haven, Chambers Pointe campus, is a structured social setting where your loved one is cared for and cared about. Our program has been designed to accommodate aging adults during daytime hours in a secure setting.

The Program Assistant will provide care and assist in the daily activities; this includes but is not limited to toileting, bathing and dressing.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED, required
• An active CNA license in PA, highly desirable
• Current CPR/First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain upon hire, required
• Prior experience in a healthcare setting or senior living, highly desirable
• Ability to promote and maintain a positive attitude
• Must be a self-starter, able to work on a team and alone

Shift:
