Job summary

Metropolitan Family Service in the Portland area seeks a Program Assistant to support the SUN program at Salish Ponds. You will assist with day-to-day operations, data entry, file maintenance, and SUN program activities.

The schedule is Mon-Thu 2:00-5:00pm, totaling 12–15 hours weekly; training and coordination with site staff will help run engaging activities for youth and families in the SUN program.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching or working with school aged students.
• Ability to manage confidential information.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily after school program operations and attendance.
• Support data entry, attendance tracking, and partner outreach.
• Coordinate participant registration and program documentation.
• Assist with family and community events and resource outreach.
• Provide administrative support to SUN site office.
