Job summary

Community LIFE is seeking an Adult Day Center Aide in Tarentum, PA. You will assist elderly participants with daily living activities, lead recreational activities, and provide personal care in our Adult Day Center and, when needed, in participants’ homes. A high school diploma or GED is required, and a PA driver's license with reliable vehicle is required.

The schedule is Mon–Fri 7:30am–4pm with 8 weekend hours per month. Salary is $15.50–$16.50 per hour, daily pay available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid PA Driver's license and reliable vehicle.
• Caregiving experience preferred.
• Discretion, tact, patience, and good judgment.
• Empathetic and compassionate attitude toward the elderly.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written directions; keep records.

Responsibilities

• Assist elderly participants with activities of daily living.
• Lead recreational activities and provide personal care services in the Center.
• Provide care at participants' residences as needed.

Position Summary: In our Adult Day Center, our Aides are called Program Assistants. Program Assistants are responsible for providing assistance to elderly participants with activities of daily living, recreational activities and performing personal care services in our Adult Day Center and, as needed, their place of residence.

• Location: Tarentum, PA
• Schedule: Mon.-Fri., 7:30am-4pm; plus 8 weekend hours per month
• Salary: $15.50 and up per hour (more based on verifiable caregiving experience) DAILY PAY AVAILABLE!!
• Required Education: High school diploma or GED

Required Licensure: Valid PA Driver's license and reliable vehicle

Required Experience: Caregiving experience is preferred.

Required Skills:

• Ability to understand and carry out non-technical verbal and written directions, record messages, and keep records.
