Job summary

Community LIFE in Tarentum, PA is seeking an Adult Day Center Aide (Program Assistant) to support elderly participants with daily living activities, recreation, and personal care in our day center and, when needed, at participants' homes. This full-time role runs Monday through Friday, 7:30am–4pm, with about 8 weekend hours per month.

Compensation starts at $15.50 per hour with potential increases based on caregiving experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid PA driver's license and reliable vehicle required.
• Caregiving experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist elderly participants with activities of daily living.
• Engage in recreational activities with participants.
• Provide personal care in the Adult Day Center and, as needed, at participants' residences.
• Maintain records and follow directions accurately.

Position Summary: In our Adult Day Center, our Aides are called Program Assistants. Program Assistants are responsible for providing assistance to elderly participants with activities of daily living, recreational activities and performing personal care services in our Adult Day Center and, as needed, their place of residence.

Location: Tarentum, PA

Schedule: Mon.-Fri., 7:30am-4pm; plus 8 weekend hours per month

Salary: $15.50 and up per hour (more based on verifiable caregiving experience) DAILY PAY AVAILABLE!!

Required Education: High school diploma or GED

Required Licensure: Valid PA Driver's license and reliable vehicle

Required Experience: Caregiving experience is preferred.
