The Salvation Army seeks a Program Assistant to help maintain a safe, supportive environment for clients and staff. You will observe who enters and leaves, document incidents, and assist with daily administrative tasks to keep program operations running smoothly.
Responsibilities include medication observation, conducting security checks, enforcing house rules, supporting admissions and exits, and coordinating with clinical staff during urine analysis and breathalyzer screenings.
The Program Assistant helps maintain a safe, supportive environment where clients can begin addressing their personal needs. As a frontline worker, they ensure the Center’s safety, integrity, and security at all times. They also document daily activities and perform administrative tasks that support overall program operations.
