Classification Title: Program Assistant
Classification Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Work with Physical Security Coordinator(s), this position will collaborate and coordinate programming of new physical security infrastructure via the Lenel and Genetec platforms. and implement processes and workflows that efficiently maintain the Department's day-to-day operations.
Provide administrative support to the Department to include providing customer service, providing tier 1 support to phone calls, software tickets, and hardware tickets as necessary,
Assist with meeting deadlines for Physical Security projects. Provide project status and updates on projects across campus. Assist with monitoring work request tickets, verifying security equipment functionality, website content development.
This position will also serve as the Department's assistant UF identity management coordinator and maintain data related to faculty and staff identification in the UF Directory.
Other administrative responsibilities include maintaining the Space Report and acting as the Department Security Administrator (DSA). Responsible for Asset Management and ensuring assets are accounted for, and Asset Identification Numbers are affixed to university property in accordance with university policies and procedures.
Other duties as assigned.

This position requires a Class E State of Florida Driver's License.
Normal work schedule Monday-Friday 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Total hours/week: 40.
Occasional overtime is required. Off campus travel may be required.
$19.23 to $21.00 Hourly
