Job summary

The Salvation Army Thrift Store in Des Moines, IA is seeking a part-time Program Manager to support beneficiaries through 2nd shift operations. You will oversee adherence to center rules, coordinate activities, and supervise medication calls, while ensuring program compliance and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Assess and refer spiritual needs to Chaplain/Administrator.
• Administer drug and alcohol screening tests as required.
• Maintain daily reports and electronic data entries.
• Document program violations and incidents.
• Support center policies and procedures.
• Monitor and ensure program compliance.

About the Role

At The Salvation Army Thrift Store, your work helps turn donations into funding for programs that support people in our community. Working on 2nd shift, you'll be responsible for maintaining the integrity, philosophy, and standards of our effective rehabilitation program. This role is crucial in ensuring program compliance while supporting our beneficiaries' recovery journey.

What You’ll Do

Program Management

Additional Information

What You Need

Required

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Previous managerial experience preferred
• Valid Driver's License with ability to qualify for Salvation Army insurance
