Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support for programs, events, and daily operations.
• Coordinate participant communications, registrations, scheduling, logistics, and event planning.
• Maintain program records, databases, alumni information, and documentation.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and engagement of participants, volunteers, alumni, and community partners.
• Assist with planning and execution of organizational events and leadership programs, including Ember.
• Observe and support program facilitation while developing skills to lead future programs.
• Represent Leadership Hendricks County at events and community activities.
• Support community outreach and relationship-building efforts.
• Assist with fundraising activities, donor stewardship, sponsorship engagement, and grant support.
• Support marketing and communications through newsletters, social media, website updates, and promotional materials.
• Assist with financial and administrative functions, including reporting and recordkeeping.
• Collaborate with staff, board members, committees, volunteers, and community stakeholders.

Position Summary

The Program and Operations Coordinator provides administrative, operational, and program support for Leadership Hendricks County. This role helps ensure the successful delivery of programs, events, communications, participant engagement, and organizational operations.

Working closely with the Executive Director, the Coordinator supports Leadership Hendricks County's mission of developing informed, connected, and engaged community leaders. The position serves as a key point of contact for participants, alumni, volunteers, and community partners.

This role is designed as a professional growth opportunity with a pathway toward increased responsibilities in program facilitation, community engagement, and fundraising support. During the first year, the Coordinator will support and observe program facilitation, including Ember, with opportunities to assume greater leadership responsibilities over time.
