Air Force Elements, U.S. Central Command seeks a Training and Exercise Planner to provide planning, analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of training events for internal and external audiences.
The role supports joint force readiness across USCENTCOM's area of responsibility by developing and preparing to execute battle staff training and exercises, including multinational and partner nation involvement.
The primary purpose of this position is to serve as Training and Exercise Planner providing planning, analysis, design, development implementation, and evaluation of training events for both internal and external audiences; to sustain joint force readiness throughout the United States Central Command (USCENTCOM) Area of Responsibility and to develop, plan, and prepare to execute battle staff training and exercises.
In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Group Standard for Administrative & Management Positions.
Applicants must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level (or other equivalent pay systems) in federal service which equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities (KSA's) to perform successfully the duties of the position being filled. Specialized experience is experience which may have been gained while managing, coordinating, and assessing the productivity, effectiveness, and efficiency of large scale, complex training and exercise programs that are critical to achieving objectives; enhancing readiness across multinational, coalition, and partner organizations and planning, managing, and coordinating complex training and exercise programs that are critical to achieving command/organizational objectives.
