Description

Xcelerate Solutions is seeking a Junior Program Analyst to support the Joint Program Executive Office for CBRN Defense (JPEO-CBRND) Office of the Chief Information Officer (CIO). In this role, you will assist in providing innovative IT solutions, services, and cybersecurity policy guidance, supporting IT-security projects, developing policies, and managing official documentation.

Work Location:

Edgewood, Maryland

Clearance Requirement:

Secret

Responsibilities:
  1. Assist team lead with project planning, development, initiation, and execution.
  2. Schedule and coordinate meetings and activities for the CIO.
  3. Prepare briefings, reports, and documentation for training and workshops.
  4. Assist in drafting SOPs and business rules.
  5. Participate in team meetings and respond to inquiries.
  6. Manage tasks within the task management system and respond to external requests.
  7. Lead projects tracking risks and providing status updates.
  8. Draft and review high-level action papers, policies, and acquisition documents.
  9. Support acquisition streamlining activities.
  10. Track multiple complex actions across teams.
Minimum Requirements:
  • High School Diploma
  • 2+ years' experience in project management, DoD acquisition, or related fields.
  • Knowledge of DoD acquisition processes and policies (e.g., DoDI 5000.02).
