Join our team in support of NASA on the Kennedy Exploration Ground Systems (EGS) Program (LX) Support Services Contract Three (KLXS III)

Under this contract, ARES provides engineering and technical services, program and business management support services, and administrative support services to the EGS Program. The contract also includes support for ground systems and spaceflight systems planning and design; project management and integration; operations integration and analysis; technical requirements development, management, and compliance; cost, risk, information, and configuration management; and schedule integration and analysis.

Position Summary

Program Schedule Analyst supporting the Exploration Ground Systems (EGS) Program (LX), Planning and Control office.

Job Description - Functional Responsibilities
  • Experience with PRIMAVERA P6 is highly desirable.
  • Work directly supporting the EGS Schedule Manager within the NASA LX Program Planning and Control (PP&C) office.
  • Perform schedule analysis tasks for the EGS Integrated Master Schedule and create schedule products for presentations.
  • Develop schedule guidance and provide schedule expertise to program members.
  • Interface with ESD and SLS/Orion schedule teams as a backup to the EGS schedule manager.
  • Update schedules in Microsoft Project used across the enterprise.
  • Create presentations for various briefings, including schedule status and health reports.
  • Require excellent organizational, communication skills, and knowledge of Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, and Milestones Professional.
  • May require occasional travel and involve schedule/prediction analysis and project forecasting.
Minimum Requirements
  • Mandatory scheduling expertise.
  • Thorough understanding of milestones, dependencies, float/slack, lag, margin, constraints, baselines/actuals, schedule slip, and budget impacts.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Project (Desktop and Enterprise), Primavera P6, and Milestones Professional.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and business applications.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to create detailed reports including resource charts, PERT charts, Gantt charts, and schedule revisions.
  • Participation in Primavera process and database management discussions.
  • Understanding of the systems engineering lifecycle.
Preferred Qualifications
  • PMP Certification from PMI.
  • Experience with Milestones Professional or similar schedule software.
  • Aerospace industry experience.
  • Experience with schedule analysis tools like Acuman Fuse, NASA STAT, GAO Schedule Assessment Tool, etc.
  • Strong organizational skills for fast-paced environments.
  • Ability to work independently and in teams.
  • Effective multitasking skills.
Education
  • Bachelor of Science (BS) in Business, Math, or a technical field from an accredited institution.
  • 5-15 years of applicable experience.
