Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum of one year of experience in budget analysis, financial management, and monitoring expenditures to support budget planning and resource allocation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and financial management or travel systems.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain accurate financial records.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Previous experience supporting a government agency preferred.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must be able to undergo and pass a Public Trust background investigation.
• Must be able to work onsite in Arlington, VA.

Responsibilities

• Collect, compile, and analyze data needed to formulate budget requests and district allocations of annual transportation funding.
• Provide technical advice for financial system transactions for the transportation and guard services sections.
• Submit payment requests for air operations flight hours for prisoner transportation through JPATS.
• Update the Office of Transportation Services SOP annually.
• Track and maintain records of air charter missions.
