Job summary

Axle, a bioscience and information technology company, seeks a Program Analyst to join the NIH Fogarty International Center in Bethesda, MD, supporting scientific planning, program administration, extramural grant oversight, and congressional reporting to advance global health research.

The position requires a Master’s degree (preferred) or bachelor’s with equivalent public health experience, proficiency with MS Office, strong written and oral communication, and the ability to coordinate with

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree preferred or bachelor’s degree with equivalent public health experience.
  • Public health research skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of program administration and grant oversight.

Responsibilities

  • Research and assess the operation of the organization's scientific programs.
  • Conduct literature searches and provide summaries for planning.
  • Compile data and create graphs, slides, presentations and scientific reports.
  • Support administration and monitoring of extramural grants and cooperative agreements.
  • Coordinate performance and status reporting at all stages of grant lifecycle.
  • Liaise with NIH Office of the Director for Congressional inquiries and reporting.
