Job summary

Bowhead seeks a Program Analyst to join our team in Stafford, VA, supporting MITSM. A Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of related experience are required, with at least 2 years in acquisition support preferred. Must hold a Secret level security clearance.

Responsibilities include acquisition documentation, market research, data gathering, SharePoint/Jira/Confluence usage, Agile PI planning, and delivering briefings to management and customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum of 5 years of related experience.
• At least 2 years of acquisition support experience preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience developing or reviewing Project Management plans and activities preferred.
• Demonstrated experience managing SharePoint site content, including creation and maintenance of SharePoint pages, document libraries, lists, permissions, and user-facing content.
• Demonstrated analytical skills, effective communication, and self-motivation in task execution.
• Strong documentation, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including briefing and training abilities.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
• Experience managing client requirements and small teams.
• Strong business presentation and analytical capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Support acquisition teams in preparing, reviewing, updating, maintaining, routing, and approving documentation.
• Assist with market research by identifying vendor sources and drafting market research reports.
• Track and manage action items using Government tools and monitor due dates.
• Schedule and reserve conference rooms per local procedures.
• Coordinate meetings, notifications, agendas, logistics, and follow-ups.
• Gather inputs for data calls, draft responses, and support leadership reviews.
• Collect, organize, file, and retrieve records (reports, minutes, memos).
• Translate requirements into process maps and technical specs.
• Provide recommendations to improve products, services, and processes.
• Develop briefings and communication materials for customers and executives.
• Create procedure manuals, technical specifications, and process documentation.
• Research, write, and edit content to align with project requirements.
• Utilize Teams, SharePoint, Jira, and Confluence to support deliverables and improvements.
• Apply Agile methodology to support PI planning and project execution.
• Provide strong customer service to stakeholders.
