As a Program Analyst 2, your work helps strengthen agency programs by studying information, supporting major projects, and improving business processes across the organization. In this role, you will perform the following duties:

  • Strategic Support: Assist in planning efforts by helping lead sessions with agency leadership and supporting major initiatives
  • Team Collaboration: Work with staff, partners, and stakeholders to plan meetings, analyze information, and build shared agreements
  • Process Compliance: Review reports and coordinate with leaders to promote adherence to business processes and policies
  • Knowledge Management: Support the organization and sharing of important agency information through research and collaboration
  • Project Guidance: Track project progress, gather details, and help move assignments toward clear and timely results
Work Schedule and Additional Information
  • Full-time employment
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30‑minute lunch.
  • Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part‑time, up to 4 days per week. You will be required to report in‑office one day per week to the Northwest Office Building in Harrisburg. To telework, you must have a securely configured high‑speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. Additional details may be provided during the interview.

Qualifications
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements
  • One year as a Program Analyst 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
  • Two years of analytical experience, one of which includes professional experience in program evaluation and the development of program recommendations, and a bachelor's degree; or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training

  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirements
  • You must pass a background investigation. An applicant with a felony conviction within the last ten years of their prospective date of employment is not permitted to work for the PLCB, per section 210(c) of the Pennsylvania Liquor Code. Other criminal convictions will be reviewed on a case‑by‑case basis.
