Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. (SPA) seeks a Program Analyst to support the TRIDENT II D5LE2 missile program within SSP at Navy.

The Analyst will assist with planning, development and execution, including GFI/GFE management, data rights and data management, and risk management, interfacing with headquarters-level program managers and engineers to oversee schedules and government information coordination. The position is based at Maritime Plaza in Washington, DC and requires U.S.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • U.S. citizen with DoD SECRET or higher clearance.
  • 3+ years professional experience with defense programs.
  • Ability to work at Maritime Plaza in Washington DC at a minimum of 3 days per week.
  • Exceptional writing and presentation abilities.
  • Self-motivated with strong work ethic, time management, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide programmatic support to the TRIDENT II D5LE2 missile program within SSP.
  • Support headquarters-level planning, development and execution for multiple activities including GFI/GFE management, data rights and data management, and risk management.
  • Coordinate with government and contractor teams on schedules and Government Furnished Information.

The Strategic Division (SD) supports high-reliability organizations including Navy Strategic Systems Programs (SSP), Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center, and the Department of Energy (DOE), among others. Our support across our client base is expanding rapidly and encompasses important services, such as data analytics and visualization, threat analysis, risk management, modeling and simulation, cost estimating, earned value management, program management, system engineering, independent evaluation, and High Consequence Event prevention.

The Strategic Systems Analysis Group (SSAG) supports government and private sector strategic planning, decision making, and program management. SSAG integrates deep client knowledge, advanced analytics, and subject matter expertise to provide timely and objective technical, operational, programmatic, acquisition, and policy analysis. SSAG is hiring for a Program Analyst supporting Navy SSP at Maritime Plaza, Washington D.C.

Responsibilities

The Program Analyst will provide programmatic support to the TRIDENT II D5LE2 missile program within SSP. They will support headquarters level planning, development and execution for a variety of activities including GFI/GFE management, data rights and data management, and risk management for the upcoming TRIDENT II missile system. The Analyst will directly support technical branch program managers and engineers in the development and oversight of schedules, coordination of Government Furnished Information, and risk management.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Ability to work at Maritime Plaza in Washington D.C. at a minimum of 3 days per week, up to full-time, based upon the needs of the client.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • U.S. citizen with DoD SECRET or higher security clearance.
  • 3+ years professional experience with defense programs.
  • Exceptional writing and presentation abilities.
  • Self-motivated with strong work ethic, time management, and interpersonal skills.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience working with Strategic Systems Programs (SSP).
  • Experience working with DoD engineering and acquisition processes.
  • Experience with US Government acquisition, US government budgeting and project planning.

Salaries are commensurate with experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Washington, DC, Pay Transparency Salary range: USD $90,000.00/Yr. - USD $120,000.00/Yr.
