Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) is seeking a Program Analyst to support data-informed decision making across the organization. This remote-first role focuses on measuring outcomes, evaluating programs, and translating data into actionable insights for strategic planning and continuous improvement.

You will develop reports and dashboards, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and communicate findings to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, economics, public policy, community planning, or another quantitative field, or equivalent relevant experience
• Three or more years of experience in program evaluation, data analysis, economic analysis, public policy, data management, or a related field; a master's degree may substitute for experience
• Experience working with data processing, statistical analysis, and data management tools
• Strong analytical, research, problem-solving, and quantitative skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly
• Strong project management and organizational skills with attention to detail
• Interest in economic development and economic trends impacting Wisconsin communities and businesses

Role Overview & Key Responsibilities

The Program Analyst supports data-informed decision making and program evaluation efforts across WEDC. This role helps strengthen the organization’s ability to measure outcomes, understand economic development trends, and assess the impact of investments and programs throughout Wisconsin. Working across divisions, the Program Analyst transforms data into actionable insights that support strategic planning, continuous improvement, and organizational effectiveness. In this role, you will:
