Job summary

505th Command and Control Wing at Hurlburt Field, FL seeks a Program Analyst to apply aviation experience to analyze and develop recommendations for improving effectiveness in planning and execution of C2 exercises.

You will develop strategies to train JFACC and COMAFFOR staffs in employing air, space and cyber power across the spectrum of conflict,. This role involves documenting decisions and delivering briefings with other staff functions.

Responsibilities

• Aviation Program Analysis: Applying military rated aviation experience, analyzes, develops, and evaluates issues and develops recommendations to resolve substantive problems and issues of effectiveness and efficiency of work operations in a major command program.
• Document Decisions: Documents planning and programming decisions in appropriate formats to meet Air Force and Major Command requirements.
• Strategic Planning Participation: Using military rated aviation experience, actively participates in strategic planning to improve organizational direction and focus using strategic planning tools and techniques.
• Deliver Briefings: Prepares and delivers oral presentations such as briefings, training sessions, consultations, and strategy sessions with other staff service functions and activities to secure cooperation, resolve controversial matters, and convey information relative to proposed changes in assignments.

Job description

Salary: $89,508 - $116,362 per year

Security Clearance: Top Secret

Position Summary:

To serve as a program analyst, applying military aviator experience to analyze, develop, and evaluate issues, and develop recommendations to resolve substantive problems and issues of effectiveness and efficiency of work operations of planning, scenario development and execution of operational level warfare command and control exercises and experiments led by the 505th Combat Training Squadron (505CTS) for the purpose of training the Joint Force Air Component Commander (JFACC), and Commander Air Force Forces (COMAFFOR) staffs in the operational art of employing air, space and cyber power to dominate across the spectrum of conflict .
