SALVATION ARMY CORP in Smithfield, NC is seeking a part-time Recreation Aide to provide care for children, implement age-appropriate activities, and support daily routines in a church-based program.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED with at least two years of teaching child development in a church; CPR/First Aid certification is preferred. This position offers part-time hours with benefits and on-site responsibilities within the NSC-Smithfield Corps.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Two years' experience teaching child development programs in a church or related setting.
• Equivalent combination of training and experience may be considered.

Mansioni

• Implements lesson plans which are age-group program specific.
• Provide homework assistance as needed.
• Prepares and serves children's snacks meals.
• Cleans the kitchen, classrooms, tables, bathrooms, etc. in accordance with established standards.
• Monitor children on the bus during transportation.
• Ensure the safety and protection of children at all times.
