CDI Head Start is seeking a Program Aide for the Bluffton Head Start Center. Program Aide – Bluffton Head Start Center

Location: 11100 E Spring St, Bluffton, IN 46714

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday‑Friday (30 hours per week, 42 weeks per year)

Pay Rate: $11.42 per hour

Join the Head Start teaching team in a teaching assistant type position that facilitates many classroom activities such as field trips, lesson planning, and classroom maintenance. This is a great opportunity to learn the basics of a Head Start classroom and start a career track toward becoming a Head Start Teacher. The position may also assist in the kitchen, bus, or other areas of operation.

Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers with classroom activities.
• Help plan and facilitate field trips.
• Support classroom maintenance and organization.
• Assist in kitchen, bus, or other operational areas as needed.

Qualifications:

• No prior education or experience required unless a local or state regulation mandates a high school diploma or G.E.D.
• High school diploma or G.E.D. is required.
• Some states may require additional qualifications for kitchen aide duties (e.g., Safe Serve).
• Applicants who can meet educational requirements within a reasonable time after hire are encouraged to apply.
