Job summary

Public Consulting Group LLC (PCG) is seeking a seasoned Social Services Operations Leader in Wisconsin to supervise Social Security Eligibility and Trust Accounting teams. You will coordinate daily activities, ensure legal compliance, and respond to management requests using data tools.

The role emphasizes process improvement and cross-team collaboration. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of supervisory experience, strong knowledge of relevant federal programs, and proficiency with Excel/Power

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting or business.
  • Experience: 5+ years of relevant work experience with staff supervision.
  • Familiarity with Title XVI, Title II, and Title IV-D programs.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Social Security Eligibility and Trust Accounting staff and lead the team.
  • Direct supervision, including weekly check-ins and performance management.
  • Ensure compliance with federal/state laws, regulations, and policies.
  • Monitor performance metrics to meet contractual responsibilities.
  • Use Excel and Power BI to respond to management requests.
  • Drive continuous improvement for compliance, value, and efficiency.
  • Maintain SOPs and training materials for team functions.
  • Lead client meetings and trainings for DCF and PCG management.
  • Foster positive relationships with clients, partners, and staff.
  • Collaborate across PCG teams to share information and support.
  • Stay updated on federal/state laws and policies.
  • Lead or participate in state/federal audits and reviews.

Services: Program Consulting Finance Consulting and Billing Services Applied Technology Outsourcing and Operations Strategy Project and Grants Management Assessments and Feasibility Studies

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Manage Social Security Eligibility and Trust Accounting staff, including direct supervision of individuals and overall leadership of team activities and outcomes.
  • Direct supervision of team members including weekly check-ins, providing direction and feedback, and performance management
  • Ensure team’s compliance with federal and state laws, regulations, and policies.
  • Monitor performance measurements for team activities to help ensure that team meets all contractual responsibilities
  • Use critical thinking and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI) to respond to DCF and PCG management requests.
  • Proactively pursue continuous improvement to increase compliance, value, accuracy, and efficiency of the team’s work.
  • Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures and training materials for team functions.
  • Develop and maintain a robust quality assurance process for all activities, data and reports developed for DCF and for PCG management.
  • Lead client meetings and trainings in a variety of settings.
  • Maintain positive working relationship with clients, federal partners, colleagues, and team members.
  • Collaborate with PCG staff on other teams, fostering an environment of information sharing and mutual support across teams.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal and state laws and policies.
  • Lead/participate in state and federal audits and reviews
Required Skills
  • Ability to prioritize responsibilities for self and others and to delegate tasks

  • Advanced understanding of and ability to interpret relevant federal and state laws, regulations, and policies

Qualifications
  • Education Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in accounting or business
  • Experience 5+ years of relevant work experience, preferably including supervision of staff Familiarity with relevant federal programs, including Title XVI (SSI), Title II (RSDI), and Title IV-D (Child Support) #LI-MB1 #LI-Remote

Compensation for roles at Public Consulting Group varies depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by applicable law, PCG provides a reasonable range of compensation for this role. In addition, PCG provides a range of benefits for this role, including medical and dental care benefits, 401k, PTO, parental leave, bereavement leave.

Range: $60,100 –$ 75,000 PCG does not sponsor newly hired foreign national workers for work authorization, including H-1B sponsorship.
