Job description

Public Consulting Group (PCG) is seeking a qualified individual to manage Social Security Eligibility and Trust Accounting staff for the Division of Consumer Financial Services (DCF). The role includes providing direct supervision, ensuring compliance, and driving continuous improvement across all team functions.

Responsibilities
  • Direct supervision of team members, including weekly check-ins, direction, feedback, and performance management.
  • Ensure team compliance with federal and state laws, regulations, and policies.
  • Monitor performance metrics for team activities to meet all contractual responsibilities.
  • Use critical thinking and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI) to respond to DCF and PCG management requests.
  • Proactively pursue continuous improvement to increase compliance, value, accuracy, and efficiency of the team’s work.
  • Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures and training materials for team functions.
  • Develop and maintain a robust quality assurance process for all activities, data, and reports developed for DCF and PCG management.
  • Lead client meetings and trainings in a variety of settings.
  • Maintain positive working relationships with clients, federal partners, colleagues, and team members.
  • Collaborate with PCG staff on other teams, fostering an environment of information sharing and mutual support across teams.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal and state laws and policies.
  • Lead or participate in state and federal audits and reviews.
Required Skills

Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in accounting or business.
  • Experience: 5+ years of relevant work experience, preferably including supervision of staff.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with relevant federal programs, including TitleXVI (SSI), TitleII (RSDI), and TitleIV‑D (Child Support).

Compensation & Benefits: Range: $72,100 – $99,000. PCG provides medical and dental care, 401(k), paid time off, parental leave, and bereavement leave. PCG does not sponsor newly hired foreign national workers for work authorization, including H‑1B sponsorship.
