Portland State University invites applications for the Program Administrator position within the Institute on Aging. The role leads administrative support for IOA, SALC, OCEBHA, and the Better with Age Initiative, coordinating research activities, recruitment, and external relations.

The successful candidate will assist the IOA Director, manage budgets, supervise staff, and help advance grant and contract opportunities while supporting diverse program components and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• BA/BS with 3+ years of related experience.
• Knowledge of PSU program practices and operations.
• Experience with Banner, DataMaster or Cognos or similar enterprise systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist the IOA Director, faculty and staff with coordinating a program of research.
• Establish and define operational programs and guidelines for the research center.
• Manage fiscal resources for research programs and projects.
