Job summary

NACBA is seeking an Accountant to manage daily financial operations and reporting for the HealthChoices program, ensuring full compliance with Department of Human Services standards. You will report to the Executive Director and CFO and handle end-to-end preparation and analysis of all monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and regulatory reports.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree including or supplemented by accounting credits.
One year of professional accounting experience or five years of bookkeeping with 15 accounting credits.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Analytical, problem solving and budgetary skills.
Ability to work with senior management, board, and external partners.
Proficient in Windows-based PCs.

Responsibilities

Manage daily financial operations and reporting for the HealthChoices program.
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Ensure regulatory reporting compliance with Department of Human Services standards.
Validate rate setting and reinvestment calculations.
Serve as financial liaison to Leadership, the Board, and external partners.
