Job summary

United Aviate Academy is seeking a Progress Check Instructor to evaluate student progress in accordance with ACS, FAA regulations, TCO, and UAA policies. You will maintain training records and ensure students meet training requirements, contributing to a safe and effective learning environment.

Responsibilities include evaluating students for quality and consistency, maintaining records in compliance with 14 CFR Part 141, and recommending improvements to curriculum.

Qualifications

• Extensive understanding of 14 CFR, FSIMS 8900, and aviation regulations.
• Multiple signoffs in a variety of courses with a high pass rate.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate students to ensure quality and consistency of instruction.
• Maintain student training records and ensuring FAA ACS course standards are met.
• Recommend students for evaluation by a Designated Pilot Examiner (DPE).
• Maintain course standards, training requirements, and objectives for all assigned students.

Job description

As a Progress Check Instructor (PCI), you will perform the duties of an evaluator, ensuring students understand and practice all aspects of the United Aviate Academy’s Aviation Safety Program. You will evaluate student progress in accordance with Airman Certification Standards (ACS), FAA regulations, the Training Course Outline (TCO), and UAA policies, maintain training records, and ensure students meet training requirements.

Key responsibilities include

• Evaluating students to ensure quality and consistency of instruction.

• Maintaining student training records and ensuring FAA ACS course standards are met.

• Recommending students for evaluation by a Designated Pilot Examiner (DPE)

Duties/Responsibilities

• Maintain student training records in compliance with 14 CFR Part 141 and UAA policies.

• Ensure course standards, training requirements, and objectives are met for all assigned students.

• Recommend improvements to curriculum and courseware.

• Perform other related duties as required.

Qualifications

Experience
