Job summary

Nortek Data Center Cooling is seeking a Financial Analyst to provide financial reporting and analysis focused on material cost and product profitability. You will partner with multiple teams to deliver timely insights that drive profitable growth and operating efficiency across data center cooling programs.

You will develop costing models, analyze margins, and present clear, actionable analyses to leadership, while supporting annual plans and long-range forecasting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Data Analytics.
• Minimum 1+ years financial analysis experience in manufacturing.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong data modeling.
• Understanding of income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow.
• Ability to reconcile data and tie analyses back to source data.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills.
• Ability to present complex data clearly to stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Own product and customer profitability analysis through gross margin.
• Partner with Commercial, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to analyze gross margin drivers.
• Develop and maintain product-costing models and margin reporting tools.
• Perform detailed variance analysis on material costs.
• Prepare weekly and monthly material margin reports for leadership.
• Monitor cost changes and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
• Support annual plans, forecasts, and long-range planning with cost models.
• Lead ad hoc analyses and profitability initiatives.
