Solid Rock Recruiting is partnering with an established commercial specialty subcontractor in the Milwaukee area to hire an experienced Project Manager. This role focuses on managing subcontractor projects from award through completion, with a strong emphasis on profitability, production, scheduling, customer relationships, and overall project performance.

A commercial painting background is not required; the ideal candidate has construction PM experience and understands how a specialty

Qualifikationen

• 3–5+ years of project management experience in a specialty subcontracting environment.
• Strong construction background with subcontractor project operations.
• Proven ability to manage projects profitably and communicate with GCs and customers.

Aufgaben

• Manage commercial subcontractor projects from contract award through final completion.
• Take ownership of project budgets, schedules, costs, and profitability.
• Coordinate with general contractors, customers, subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel.
• Work closely with field teams to ensure projects are properly planned and executed.
• Understand when to be in the field and proactively address project needs.
• Monitor project costs, billing, change orders, and financial performance.
• Coordinate materials, manpower, scheduling, and production requirements.
• Communicate regularly with GCs, customers, and internal leadership.
• Identify potential issues early and develop solutions before they impact the project.
• Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to company standards.
• Maintain strong relationships with general contractors and other project stakeholders.
• Take full ownership of project performance and profitability.
