Job summary

The Restaurant General Manager at Burger King in Madison, WI leads daily operations for a single restaurant, overseeing P&L, guest experience, people, and operations. You will manage 20-45 staff, drive profitability, recruit and develop teams, and ensure brand standards are met.

You will report to the District Manager and handle scheduling, training, coaching, and problem-solving to optimize performance and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen years old.
• High School Diploma or GED required, 2 years of college preferred.
• 1-2 years of previous restaurant management experience.
• Strong understanding of P&L management and drivers of profitability.
• Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines with strong leadership.
• Available to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Owns the restaurant P&L and drives profitability through operations and guest service.
• Leads recruitment and onboarding of restaurant staff; coaches team members.
• Manages labor with optimal staffing and scheduling for the restaurant.
• Ensures compliance with regulations and brand standards; handles local marketing.
• Performs duties of assistant manager when necessary.
