This is a unique opportunityto educate the next generation of scientists, and the associatedworkforce needed to support the growing needs in this field. Thisrole is designed for accomplished professionals with significantexperience in pharmaceutical research who are passionate aboutproviding students with a deeper understanding of drug developmentand pharmaceutical sciences. The Professor of Practice will bringreal-world expertise into the classroom, bridging academic learningwith professional application. This is a 12-month, 1.0 FTE,non-tenurable appointment in which the individual will work withHCOP faculty and staff to provide premier educational experiencesfor our students. The position is based on the Auburn campus.
The program is designed to provide an innovative, instructional andresearch-intensive academic environment with the capacity to meetthe challenges of preparing undergraduate-level students forentering newly emerging pharmaceutical sciences career tracks.Undergraduate students will experience an innovative instructionaland research-intensive academic environment, providing a deeperunderstanding of drug development and pharmaceuticalsciences.
