Job summary

A.T. Still University’s School of Osteopathic Medicine in Arizona (ATSU-SOMA) invites applications for a full-time, exempt Assistant/Associate Professor of Anatomy & Basic Science at the Mesa campus. Faculty contribute to medical education through anatomy labs, case-based learning, and CC sessions with clinical cases.

The role involves teaching, curricular participation, assessment development, and student mentorship in a collaborative medical school environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations.

• Strong communication and organizational abilities; attention to detail.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team and with faculty.

Responsibilities

• Serve as content expert in anatomy and pathology.
• Facilitate anatomy lab activities.
• Support small group learning and case-based sessions.
• Develop educational tools and lectures as needed.
• Participate in curricular meetings and faculty development.
• Contribute to assessments and identify student needs.
• Advise and mentor students and supervise student clubs.
