Job summary

ATSU-SOMA seeks an Assistant/Associate Professor (0.8 FTE) to join the School of Osteopathic Medicine in Arizona. The role focuses on creating and delivering osteopathic medical student education across years I–IV, using online and live formats, including podcasts and small group sessions.

Responsibilities include teaching, assessment development, service on committees, and participation in scholarly activities.

Qualifications

• DO/MD degree and medical license to practice in Arizona.
• Board certification in family medicine or primary care.
• Experience in medical or osteopathic education is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Educate osteopathic medical students years I–IV through online and live sessions.
• Develop and refine educational content and assessments.
• participate in committees, faculty development, and scholarly activity.
• collaborate with colleagues to advance curriculum integration and innovation.
• participate in patient-care activities if approved and coordinate with the Dean.
