A.T. Still University invites applications for a full-time, exempt Assistant/Associate Professor of Anatomy & Basic Science at the Mesa, Arizona campus.

The role focuses on anatomy lab instruction, case-based learning, and supporting medical student education through clinical cases and small-group activities. Responsibilities include developing teaching materials, coordinating with faculty on case creation, conducting assessments, mentoring students, and contributing to scholarly activities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as content expert in anatomy and pathology.
• Facilitate anatomy lab activities and small group learning.
• Develop and refine cases for case-based learning sessions.
• Prepare educational tools and demonstrations (AV, models, lectures).
• Participate in curricular meetings and faculty development events.
• Create board-style assessment questions and evaluate student performance.
• Mentor and advise students and supervise student clubs.
• Engage in scholarly activities and collaborative committees.
