WPU The William Paterson University of New Jersey seeks Professors in Residence to support PDS schools on a part-time basis by facilitating professional development for teachers. This role includes leading workshops, meeting school leaders to set goals, and serving as a liaison to university programs.
The ideal candidates will hold a master's degree in an education-related field, have significant teaching experience, and demonstrate strong organizational skills. A remote-friendly hybrid work schedule is provided, with a pay rate of $4,750.00 per semester.
Professors in Residence work in PDS schools on a part‑time basis, supporting the continuum of teachers through professional development, faculty development, and inquiry related to improved practice and student success.
Pay Rate: $4,750.00 per semester.
Work Schedule: Remote‑friendly hybrid work schedule for the role; part‑time commitment of one day (6 hours) per week at the PDS site. Four‑day summer work week from mid‑May to mid‑August (Fridays off).
