Tuskegee University in Alabama seeks a clinical-track or tenure-track Professor in Equine Practice & Surgery to advance teaching, research, and service in large animal medicine. The successful candidate will contribute to veterinary student instruction, clinical service in the Veterinary Teaching Hospital, and collaborative scholarship in equine surgery.

Applicants should have a DVM or equivalent and demonstrate a record of creative scholarship, teaching excellence, and the ability to develop

Formación

• Clinical track or tenure track faculty position in Large Animal Practice.
• Demonstrate creative scholarship and collaborative research in Large Animal Practice.
• Develop innovative teaching and service programs for the department and the VTH .
• Participate in providing client services to the Veterinary Teaching Hospital ( VTH ) in equine surgery practice.
• Participate in after-hours emergency duty clinical services.
• Develop strong professional relationships with referring veterinarians and participate in state and national outreach and continuing education. Participation on college and university committees is expected.
• All other duties as assigned.

Responsabilidades

• Participate in classroom, clinical and laboratory instruction of veterinary students, graduate students, interns, and graduate veterinarians.
