Chesley Brown International is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer in Homestead, PA to maintain a visible security presence and protect people and property. The role requires strong observation, quick response to incidents, and professional conduct.

Responsibilities include patrols, access control, monitoring alarms, reporting, and providing courteous customer service to clients and staff. Candidates must meet basic qualifications and pass background checks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; additional security or criminal justice training is a plus.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Minimum of 2 years of previous security, military, or law enforcement experience preferred.
• Professional appearance and demeanor; must be well-groomed and in proper uniform.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
• Customer service mindset with the ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure.
• Ability to walk, stand, and patrol for extended periods.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.
• Reliable transportation and flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Basic computer literacy for report writing and incident documentation.
• Driver's license and clean driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible and professional security presence to deter unauthorized or suspicious activity.
• Conduct regular patrols of interior and exterior areas to ensure safety and security.
• Monitor security systems, alarms, and surveillance equipment.
• Respond promptly and effectively to incidents or disturbances following company protocols.
• Document all incidents in daily reports.
• Enforce site rules and client policies with professionalism and respect.
• Provide excellent customer service while interacting with employees, visitors, and clients.
• Control access to buildings or restricted areas by verifying identifications.
• Report safety hazards or maintenance issues to appropriate personnel.
• Collaborate with site supervisors, clients, and law enforcement when needed.
