Zoetis seeks a Professional Services Veterinarian to drive higher standards of care and animal welfare while educating veterinary teams and advising internal sales and marketing. The role requires leadership, communication, and the ability to travel extensively.

You bring a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, active license in the US, and 5+ years in companion animal clinical practice, with strong interpersonal skills and a growth mindset.

Qualifications

• DVM degree from an accredited school.
• Current and active veterinary license in good standing.
• Valid US driver's license.
• 5+ years of experience as a veterinarian in companion animal practice.
• Willingness to travel up to 70% of work time.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Weekend/evening work may be required.

Responsibilities

• Drive adoption of higher standards of care and animal welfare.
• Educate veterinary colleagues and practice teams with lectures and discussions on diseases and Zoetis products/services.
• Be the veterinary voice when advising on strategies and internal education.
• Coach, train, and lead sales teams as needed.
• Partner with Area Business Manager to achieve business objectives.
• Become a trusted advisor to veterinary customers and colleagues.
• Support growth of Zoetis Brand and professional development.

As a Zoetis Professional Services Veterinarian, you will:

• Drive the widespread adoption of higher standards of care and animal welfare
• Educate and influence veterinary colleagues and practice teams by giving lectures, facilitating / roundtable discussions on the latest up-to-date information on small animal diseases, Zoetis products / services, medical advancements, practice management topics
• Be the "voice of the veterinarian" when advising on strategies and educating internal teams (sales and marketing).
• Be a coach, a trainer, and a leader: you bring the ability to flex your style and communication to the needs of your sales team, colleagues, and peers.
• Partner with your Area Business Manager to develop and successfully achieve the area's business strategy and objectives.
• Become a valued advisor to veterinary customers your sales team, peers and colleagues.
