About this role


We are seeking a driven and experienced Professional Services Sales Consultant to join our team, supporting both large enterprise clients (25k+ employees) and commercial clients (1k+ employees). You'll specialize in identifying, positioning, and closing strategic professional services engagements-including learning consulting, content curation, skills-gap analysis, tailored workforce training programs, and implementation services. Success in this role requires an ability to navigate complex client environments, build executive-level relationships, and deliver clear value propositions that align with strategic organizational goals.


What you'll be doing



  • Identify, qualify, and pursue professional services opportunities within existing and new large enterprise accounts.

  • Collaborate closely with internal teams (Sales, Professional Services Delivery, Customer Success, Solutions Engineering, Marketing, Product, Deal Desk, Legal, and executives) to develop and deliver comprehensive proposals tailored to client objectives

  • Engage stakeholders at multiple levels, establishing trust-based, strategic relationships to deeply understand client business challenges and position Udemy's professional services solutions as essential to their long-term success.

  • Create and execute strategic territory and account-specific plans to consistently meet and exceed professional services sales targets.

  • Lead end-to-end negotiations, manage complex contracting processes, and secure agreements efficiently and accurately.

  • Continuously gather market intelligence, competitive insights, and customer feedback, sharing findings proactively with the broader team to enhance strategic positioning and value.


What you'll have



  • Minimum of 9+ years experience successfully selling complex professional services engagements, consulting solutions, or similar B2B enterprise-level services

  • Demonstrated track record in managing sophisticated sales cycles and consistently exceeding professional services revenue targets

  • Proven success in solution selling, crafting customized engagements, and securing 6-figure+ professional services contracts

  • Strong business acumen and strategic territory management skills, ensuring sustainable client relationships and repeat business


At Udemy, we strive to be transparent around compensation. Actual compensation for this role is based on several factors, including but not limited to job-related skills, qualifications, experience, and specific work location due to differences in the cost of labor. In addition to a base salary, this role is also eligible for benefits and equity.
Hiring Compensation Range
$136,000-$170,000 USD
