You will represent AWS in customer environments, discuss trade-offs, and collaborate with Platform Service Engineering and Architecture teams to ensure success. You will work with customers' technical resources to design and implement solutions, migrate on-premises databases to AWS, and optimize distributed deployments for performance, reliability, and cost.

A Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or a related discipline and 6 years of experience as a database administrator or related occupation. In the alternative, a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline followed by 8 progressively responsible, post baccalaureate years of experience as a database administrator or related occupation.
